Image processing stays on your device

The converter reads selected images in your browser and creates downloadable JXL files locally. The converter does not upload your images to a conversion server. File names and conversion results appear in your current page session.

Website requests and third parties

Loading the website sends normal web requests to the hosting provider. These requests may include your IP address, browser information and request details. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives requests from your browser when those fonts load. Hosting-provider access controls may use their own authentication and cookies.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-K6VSENSKHH) to understand website visits and usage. The Google tag sends usage and device information to Google and may use cookies. The converter does not send your selected images or their contents to Google Analytics.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics may store analytics cookies. The converter does not save your images to local storage. Files you download are saved through your browser to your device. Hosting-provider features operate separately from the converter code.

Retention and control

Clear the conversion list or close the page to release the converter’s references to your images. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them. Any provider request-log retention is controlled by the hosting provider.

If you contact the site operator, the information you choose to send is used to address your inquiry. See the Contact page for currently available contact details. This policy should be updated if hosting, analytics, advertising or data-handling features change.
